Exercise: Conduct a Series of One-way ANOVAs
Use what we’ve learned so far to conduct a series of one-way ANOVAs, analyzing the final Mass of the metamorphs.
We'll cover the following
Let’s test what we’ve learned so far about conducting a series of one-way ANOVAs.
Assignment
Conduct a series of one-way ANOVAs, analyzing the final Mass
of the metamorphs by each of the three predictors in the dataset—hatching age, predator treatment, and resource level.
- Make sure to check the final
Mass
data for normality. - Make sure to check the diagnostic plots to see if things look okay or out of sorts (if the model doesn’t fit well, it should be obvious).
- Make a bar graph to go with the analysis of each predictor.
- For the analysis of the predator treatment, conduct a post hoc Tukey test to find out which of the three treatments are different from one another.
