Game: Tom Clancy’s The Division (TCTD)

Introduction to the game

TCTD is an online-only open-world RPG shooter game set in a near-future New York City in the aftermath of a smallpox pandemic. Two screenshots of the game are shown in the figure below. The player, an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division, must help the group rebuild its operations in Manhattan, investigate the nature of the outbreak, and combat criminal activity in its wake. Released in March 2016, TCTD accumulated more than 20 million players, becoming the fastest-selling new IP (intellectual property) of all time. As of September 2017, there were almost 2 million active monthly players.
