Explore the list of fundamental quantum issues that are discussed in this chapter.
Previously, we introduced several different types of quantum algorithms and quantum information processing schemes. All those procedures rely heavily on quantum superposition states, particularly entangled states. In this chapter, we will explore some of the conceptual issues raised by entanglement. Although understanding these issues doesn’t directly impact our ability to use quantum algorithms, they do highlight the differences between classical computational resources and quantum computing resources.
We will also look at how other fundamental aspects of quantum physics are connected to QIS. Although these topics are not directly related to QC, we hope you are intrigued enough about these fundamental issues to read on.
