Summary

In this chapter, we learned how to use R and regression analysis to answer the following question: Does trade promote economic growth? We learned about the logic of regression analysis, the relationship between population and sample regression models, the estimation of sample regression model using OLS, the interpretation of estimation results, the statistical inference in regression analysis, and the types of sum of squares and overall model fit.
