Register a New Account on GitHub

In the appendix, we’ll learn to track a repository with GitHub for Desktop. We’ll see how to use GitHub and GitHub Desktop while we build a brand-new layout.

Create a GitHub account

Microsoft acquired GitHub for $7.5 billion on October 26, 2018. GitHub was founded in February 2018, and ran on Ruby on Rails. If there ever was a success story, GitHub seems to be it. Let’s register an account on GitHub and discover why it’s so popular.
