Uploading and Downloading Objects from Buckets

Upload an object

Follow the steps given below to upload objects inside a bucket.

Step 1

Go to the S3 home page. Select the bucket in which you want to upload your objects.

Step 2

You’ll find the object list empty. Now, we need to upload some objects here. Click on the “Upload” button.

Step 3

Click on the “Add Files” button. On clicking this button, you can select any object from your device to upload inside the bucket. On selecting the required object from your device, click open.

Step 4

Select the uploaded files or folders.

Step 5

Add any tags if you want and then click on the “Upload” button to upload the object. You can see the details of the objects after you have uploaded them. The “Open” button can be used to view the object.

In the demo below, an image file is uploaded. The image file successfully appears on clicking the “Open” button.
