Set Up Facebook App with Facebook Login

Login to the Facebook Developer account

To get started with access to the Graph API, you will need to log in to your Facebook account in a separate browser tab. Once you’re logged in, head to Facebook for Developers.

For registration, click on “Get Started” at the top right corner of the page. Then, add your credentials. After a few steps, you will see the pop-up shown below. Select the “Developer” option and click the “Complete Registration” button.

After registration, go to the main page, and click on “My Apps”.

Don’t let the word “App” throw you off. If you need access to Facebook’s API (regardless of whether you’re building a web application, a desktop application, or a mobile application), you need to associate each project with a Facebook App. This gets you the API key and access that you need.
