We can split our object detection models into two categories:

* One-stage detection models
* Two-stage detection models 

We categorize the models with these names since two-stage models accomplish object detection tasks in two separate steps by extracting the region of interest first and then applying classification in sequential networks, whereas one-stage models do it in one step.
