Traditional Machine Learning vs. Deep Learning

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a broad field of computer science that tries to build machines or systems capable of performing work that usually needs human intelligence. Machine learning is a subfield of artificial intelligence that focuses on creating models and algorithms that allow computers to learn from and make predictions or decisions on the basis of data. Deep learning is an area of machine learning that applies artificial neural networks inspired by the functions of the human brain.

Traditional machine learning

A machine learning workflow begins with the extraction of important features from images. After that, the features are used to build a model that classifies the objects of the image. To sort images using machine learning, we manually choose features and a classifier.
