Introduction

Selecting a deployment service to deploy our applications in the AWS cloud is a critical component of creating a well-architected application in AWS. AWS provides us with multiple services that help us manage the various aspects of our application life cycle. We have the option of provisioning the resources required to run our application, such as EC2 instances, load balancers, auto-scaling groups, etc, ourselves, or we can use a deployment service that manages these resources for us.
