Introduction to Animations & Interactivity

In this section, we are going to learn about animations and interactivity. The charts we have built so far lack finesse. We have covered the most essential steps for building charts. There is one final step we have not gone over yet.

What makes a chart interesting

We can add animations to make our charts more interesting. By adding animations, we can draw the reader’s attention to specific locations in the chart. We can also add events to shapes, such as clicks and hovers, and we can trigger certain actions based on events fired.

This section will cover one of the more fun steps of drawing a chart.
