We need a good way to store, organize, and use our data. With time, the nature of data is becoming not only more and more complex but also bigger in quantity. More people are getting access to the internet, exchanging vast amounts of data every day in various forms. Scientific data is getting larger. for example, we need weather data to be processed to get more accurate weather predictions; medical data is becoming huge, too. The list is endless.
Therefore, we need a more efficient way to sort, organize, and use that data. Data structures are all about this. They have a very close relationship with algorithms because managing such a vast amount of data is less tedious if we have more efficient algorithms ready.
