Shippo is a shipment management platform to create, track, and bill shipping on a wide array of carriers. The Shippo API allows e-commerce merchants to integrate these shipping functions directly into digital storefronts, creating a seamless customer experience.

This course is an introduction to the Shippo API and its endpoints. You’ll start with the authentication for your application using Shippo’s developer environment before moving onto requesting and generating shipping data. You’ll create the details of your shipment with address and parcel data. You’ll also learn to integrate Shippo’s various carrier partners (UPS, DHL, FedEx, and more). Then, you’ll generate a rate quote and process the transaction to generate shipping details so a package can be tracked. You’ll wrap up by building a completely functional web application in Django.
