In this module, we covered the essential components of web development. We started with an introduction to how the web works. Next, we covered the roles and relationships of the various components (databases, the frontend, and the backend) involved in web development. In the latter half, we looked at how development on both ends and their integration can be made easier through web frameworks. In the end, we got a brief introduction to the process models used when developing a website. Finally, we looked at the fundamental processes and components involved in web development.
