The Importance of Architectural Patterns
Learn why using architectural patterns is important.
We'll cover the following
An architectural pattern can be described as a way of organizing your application's code base. There are multiple architectural patterns that can be applied to each software type. But in general, each architectural pattern was designed to provide a common solution to solve a specific type of problem.
Architectural patterns typically organize the codebase into modules or layers of responsibility. For example, one layer might be responsible for business logic, another layer might be responsible for rendering user interfaces, and yet another separate layer would be responsible for storing and retrieving the data.
