Why schema markup
So, why do we need to think about schema markup in the first place? They come with various benefits, as noted above, and most importantly, they improve search visibility. Google can read schema markup to create rich snippets. Rich snippets are search results with additional details—for example, the following is a rich snippet about JavaScript:

Types of schema markup
