Styling an Autocomplete Enabled Engine

Let's assess the kind of styling we would need to add to our Autocomplete Search Engine in this lesson.

The styling for this component is relatively straightforward. Google has kept the search page simple. It’s a bar centered horizontally and vertically aligned to be around where your eyes immediately go.

It’s probably intentionally designed to look as simple as possible, leading to an intuitive interface. However, let’s look at the edge cases to get a better picture of what we’ll need to do to match it:

The buttons are flat, so we’ll make some changes to the border and background to make it appear so.
