# Create `unless` macro without using `if`
Define an `unless` macro without using `Kernel.if`, by using other control flow constructs in Elixir.




# Solution
We can use the `cond` control flow structure to recreate the `unless` macro. 
The [cond](https://elixir-lang.org/getting-started/case-cond-and-if.html#cond) construct is equivalent to `else if` clauses in many imperative languages to check different conditions and find the first one that does not evaluate to `nil` or `false`.
