We are using the sandbox environment of Wise as the main purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with Wise APIs. Once the learner gets the idea of how to use Wise APIs, they can switch to the live environment anytime.

This course is comprehensive and detailed. We’ll cover payouts API through the following structure:

  • Step 1: Get a profile.
  • Step 2: Create a recipient.
  • Step 3: Create a quote.
  • Step 4: Create a transfer.
  • Step 5: Fund transfer.

This is a beginner-level course, so the intended audience might be any of the following:

  • An individual who has basic knowledge and wants to learn Wise API.
  • A professional who has ample knowledge and wants to try Wise API.
  • Any organization that wants to transfer money using Wise API.

We assume the following prerequisites for best understanding of this course:

  • You have a basic understanding of APIs.
  • You’re familiar with HTTPS request format.
  • You have a basic understanding of money transfer gateways.

We’ll follow the Python programming language throughout this course.
