Other Fields
Learn about some other fields present on the front page of a project.
We'll cover the following
Some other fields on the project details page
In our previous lesson, we added project objectives on our project details page. Now, let’s get into the details of the other fields available for us. For instance, we can add:
-
Skills: These are the skills that users can learn in the project and must be selected from a predefined dropdown menu.
-
Tags: The tags added to the project are used for SEO. Therefore, they play a vital role in the visibility of the project. Add appropriate and relevant tags to help the desired audience find your project.
-
Collaborators: We can add collaborators to a project by adding their emails. This email should be the one they have used to create an account on Educative. These collaborators will have edit access to our project. Multiple collaborators can edit a project and save changes, but only the primary author can update the project to push those changes to the published version.
To view the projects in which you have been added as a collaborator, click the Collaborations tab on the Teach page.
-
Co-Authors: We can add co-authors to a project by adding their emails. This email should be the one that they have used to create an account on Educative. The co-author is attributed in the project by showing their name on the course page. The co-author does not get edit access to the project unless they are also added as a collaborator.
-
Reviewers: We can add reviewers to a project by adding their emails. This email should be the one that they have used to create an account on Educative. Reviewers can add and view the comments.
Moreover, we can add the following:
- Target Audience: This will be used to set the level of the project, i.e., whether it is a beginner, intermediate, or advanced-level project.
Saving the project
Once we are done with all of the required fields, we can save our project by pressing the “Save” button present on the upper-right corner of the platform, as follows:
