Delphi is a powerful programming platform for building native Win32/Win64 software with a rich user interface. Delphi users are able to have low-level machine code that’s ready to go – no extra compilation or execution layers are required like they are for .NET, Java, or JavaScript (Electron).
Delphi and C++Builder are compatible. Many key components are shared (including the IDE, VCL, and FMX architectures) and much of the runtime library. Furthermore, they can be combined in a project.
Since both Delphi and RAD Studio include the IDE and Delphi, they produce the same unmanaged native code. In addition to Delphi, RAD Studio has other product lines (XE2, for example, featured C++Creator, HTML5 Builder, and Delphi Prism). Delphi was included in the Delphi product.
Delphi is a nice programming language, but it isn’t the best. Its syntax preserves definitions that were valid more than 30 years ago but are no longer valid today. It needs some updates to get it back to its former glory. Delphi is more than just a programming language; it’s also a highly efficient area.
