What is Trello?

Share

According to the official website, “Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what’s being worked on, who’s working on what, and where something is in a process.” A Trello board can be thought of as a portable bulletin board, filled with post-its that include progress bars, attachments, and more.

Trello uses an agile methodology for task management called Kanban.

Key features

  1. Trello uses boards, lists, and cards for project management.

  2. Subtasks and smaller steps within a card can be created with checklists.

  3. Tasks can be assigned to members so that they will be notified of any modifications to their cards.

  4. Deadlines can be added to the tasks.

  5. An activity log to keep the team up-to-date.

  6. Attachments can be added for efficient organization of resources.
