Cloud Lab Overview

Amazon Aurora, a relational database, allows you to use the functionalities of powerful databases: MySQL and PostgreSQL, along with the ability to get enhanced throughput. You’ll learn to configure one of the core features, the high availability of Amazon Aurora.

In this Cloud Lab, you’ll create an EC2 instance and an associated security group. Next, you’ll learn how to create and connect an Aurora DB cluster to the EC2 instance. You’ll also learn to achieve high availability and performance optimization using reader instances of the Aurora cluster.

By the end of this Cloud Lab, you’ll have a good understanding of the basic concepts and practical skills required to get started with Amazon Aurora and manage the Amazon Aurora resources.
