The world is being transformed by artificial intelligence (AI). Many businesses and industries are implementing this technology to improve predictability, streamline processes, and stay ahead of the competition. But introducing AI software and practices isn’t always easy.

In this course, you will learn how to successfully integrate AI into any organization. You’ll learn how to determine whether your organization could fully benefit from AI, as well as the technical capabilities necessary for deployment. You’ll learn how to perform business analysis and present a case for implementation.

Further, you’ll learn project management best practices to help install AI successfully. You’ll use the Scrum framework to build and deploy AI and to maintain the system when in production to collect data and model scenarios.

AI Project Management: Deploying and Maintaining AI for Business

What does our AI project team look like? The product owner works with a business analyst, and they perform the following tasks:

- They receive sponsorship from the management team and are in charge of determining the priorities for the AI team and the results that are acceptable for the business.

- In collaboration with the Scrum Master and the data scientists, they provide all project updates to the management team.


 ## Product owners

The product owner is the person to consult if the team needs clarification on the goals or what is essential. If we have a small organization and no one is a business analyst, our product owner can make decisions on behalf of the company. In some environments, a senior data scientist who is well-versed in the business may also take on the role of the product owner. 

The product owner is accountable to the management team who provides the project’s funding. The current platform support team is another potential stakeholder or customer.

The **Scrum team** includes the people who do the work and are accountable for completing it. They are not required to be engineers or developers. The Scrum team should be able to self-organize so that they can make decisions and complete tasks.
