# Creating a minimum viable product

Let’s look at how the teams collaborate to create a minimally viable product. In some tech projects, the minimum viable product is well defined and small, and can take from six to ten weeks to create. The workflow of such projects are often divided into sprints that last one to two weeks.




# Starting with a weekly sprint

A weekly sprint makes more sense for a new product and project in the organization. A weekly sprint is short enough for the product owner and data scientists to accommodate changes in business requirements while also being long enough to complete a substantial amount of work. 

## Product owner

The product owner provides the priorities and features at the start of the sprint, which are then added to the product backlog. This is simply a list of everything that needs to be done as part of the project. The sprint backlog consists of items from the product backlog that the team will work on during the sprint.

## The Scrum team

The Scrum team collaborates with the Scrum Master to plan the sprint and divide it into smaller tasks. They also decide what work will be completed for the sprint, which will be reviewed at the end of the week. Daily Scrums are check-ins for team members to seek assistance, celebrate successes, and identify issues and roadblocks in the project.

It’s a good idea to have a review or a demo with the product owner at the end of each sprint. This can also be done when we’ve reached a significant milestone to show management what’s been accomplished.
