Maven is the de-facto build tool of choice for Java projects and has wide adoption at the enterprise level.

Build Java Projects with Maven

In the previous section, we saw how child projects can inherit from a parent project by specifying the parent section in their POM. In this lesson, we go in the other direction where a parent project references child projects in its POM in order to aggregate them.
