What Is Express.js?

As we discussed earlier, creating an HTTP server that listens to requests and sends back responses is quite cumbersome. A lot of functionalities, like parsing the body, parsing the request URL and its routes, checking the type of the requests, etc., need to be implemented by the developer. Here comes Express.js to the rescue. As developers, we want to focus on the code that defines our application; we require a framework for all the heavy lifting.
