What can you crosspost?

If you have an article Means that the article is written by you and you own the rights for said article. that you have already published on your blog or on another platform, you can crosspost it to Educative Answers. However, your crosspost must still meet our guidelines and quality standards.

Your crosspost must

  • Be on a topic that has not already been published on Educative Answers.

  • Be no longer than a 5-minute read time.

  • Contain illustrations or code snippets.

    • In order to make any code you may have in your article executable on Educative Answers,the Answers team may request that you send over the full code file for your code snippet(s) along with the expected output.

  • Not contain any blog-like attributes. Such as:

    • Long introduction

    • "You" language

    • Personal opinion

  • Not be a long tutorial

  • Not contain videos

Crosspost submissions that promote any tools or products will not be accepted as a submission on Answers.

What kinds of topics are accepted for crossposts?

The following types of topics will be accepted as crossposts:

  • How to work with SQL Databases in Python

  • Introduction to the Maps JavaScript API

What kinds of topics are not accepted for crossposts?

The following types of topics will not be accepted as crossposts. As a reminder, we do not accept blog posts or op-ed pieces:

  • How to learn code faster: 10 Best Practices

  • I will #ChooseToChallenge myself with PHP

  • How Bootstrap changed my perspective on web development

  • My daughter's first website: A walkthrough

  • [Road to Coding Job] Learn to program in 6 months

How to crosspost

You can crosspost yourself, or the Educative Answers team can do it for you. To crosspost yourself:

However, if you are tight on time, the Educative Answers team can crosspost for you. Simply:

  • Email answers@educative.io a link to your article and a link to your educative.io profile, and we will get it crossposted!

    • In order to make any code you may have in your article executable on Educative Answers, the Answers team may request that you send over the full code file for your code snippet(s).

Final product

Each crossposted Answer will have an attribution to the original article at the bottom and a canonical URL. Take a look at the example below:
