Why are PMs critical for companies?

As companies grow, so does their size and number of projects and initiatives. Since a lot of teams get involved, it becomes challenging to handle all cross-functional programs and collaborations. TPMs are equal partners that help balance, drive, control, and track cross-functional programs. They also streamline cross-team dependencies and ensure that the overall delivery remains smooth and efficient.

Usually, a complex program involves multiple stakeholders and teams where each one may own only a single piece of the task. The Program Manager works with different stakeholders to get stuff done while also taking ownership of the task and keeping everyone aligned in the program.

The Program Manager helps in setting the vision of the program and anticipate the blockers beforehand. Due to it, the team can have a mitigation plan before the issue hits the ground.

In general, TPMs help to move fast! They work as force multipliers.
