Voice is the next big revolution in tech. As conversational AI finds new and interesting use cases, it's time for developers to make use of the new opportunities to re-use their existing skills to build the next generation of apps powered by voice. 

This course will help you learn how to start developing apps for Alexa using the Alexa Skills Kit. You will be building real and interesting projects that will help you understand the fundamentals. Along the way, you will learn all the skills you need to launch your own apps on the Alexa skill store and reach millions of customers around the world. "Hey Alexa, shall we begin?"

Alexa Skills 101: Building voice apps for Alexa

It’s time to create the interaction model! Follow the instructions and add the intents. Don’t worry about getting things right for now. We will share the JSON representation of the VUI later to help get back on track.


# Clean up

Delete `HelloWorldIntent` from the interaction model, which may have been created by default.

# Built-in intents

Here are the built-in intents we need to add, apart from the ones present by default:

* **`AMAZON.YesIntent`**
* **`AMAZON.NoIntent`**

After adding these intents, make sure to click the “Save Model” button.

Refer back to the dialogue we wrote earlier.  Whenever the user utters "yes" when asked about whether to start the game, the handler for `AMAZON.YesIntent` will be triggered. The same logic applies to the `AMAZON.NoIntent`.
