Project setup

In the Alexa developer console, set up a new project using the same process we followed earlier. Make sure to choose “Alexa Hosted Skills” for the hosting option. We can name the Skill “voice clues.” Also, make sure to choose the “Custom” option for the model and “Start from Scratch” as the Skill template.

Once the project is set up, head back to the homepage of the developer console where all the Skills are listed. Click on “Copy Skill ID” to copy the Skill ID. Save this because we are going to need it when we get to the code.
