**SVG :** SVG is an open standard for vector graphics. It was developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), mainly for use as a web format for vector graphics. It is an XML(Extensible Markup Language)-based format that can directly become embedded in HTML. SVG images and their behaviours are explained in XML text files.

**Portable Document Format (PDF):** PDF was developed by Adobe to store documents in vector format. PDF also includes extra features, such as interactive fields and annotations, attachments, encryption, and digital signatures. Before PDFs, PostScript was used by Adobe. However, Adobe developed the PDF format when security concerns regarding PostScript started to emerge .
