Analyze Correlations

We have a few numerical variables in the Gapminder dataset. Let's take a look at correlations between them using scatter plots to answer the following question:

Is life expectancy related to population and/or GDP per capita?

Correlation analysis on a subset

Here, we've first plotted life expectancy on the x-axis and population on the y-axis for our United States subset. Note how we're using colormap to plot our third variable, GDP per capita, to analyze relationships between all three variables at once.
