Summary and Quiz
Get a refresher of what you’ve learned in the EUC, AWS Amplify, AWS Device Farm, and AWS IoT services and take a short quiz to validate your knowledge.
We'll cover the following
This lesson will summarize what we have learned about different AWS services. Also, we'll test our knowledge through a quiz.
Summary
Here is a summary of key takeaways from this section:
Amazon AppStreeam 2.0: Amazon AppStream 2.0 is a fully managed AWS End User Computing application streaming service that provides users instant access to our desktop applications on demand. This service allows us to host, run, and scale our desktop applications on the AWS cloud without worrying about the underlying architecture or rewriting our application code.
Amazon WorkSpaces: Amazon WorkSpaces is a service provided by AWS that allows us to provide cloud-based virtual desktops known as workspaces to our end users and eradicates the need to purchase and set up hardware or install complicated software. The WorkeSpaces family consists of WorkSpaces Personal and WorkSpaces Pool.
Amazon WorkSpaces Secure Browser: This is a cloud browser hosting service that allows our end users to securely access private websites and SaaS web applications and browse the internet by creating disposable containers for them.
AWS Amplify: AWS Amplify is an Amazon service that helps users quickly build, deploy, and host full-stack mobile and web applications on the AWS Cloud. It offers a comprehensive development framework that leverages a range of AWS services without requiring any prior cloud expertise because everything is done automatically under the hood.
AWS Device Farm: AWS Device Farm is an application testing service that allows us to improve the quality of our web and mobile applications by testing them across various mobile devices and web browsers. This service also speeds up the application testing phase by concurrently testing our applications across multiple web browsers and mobile devices. Device Farms also generates videos and logs of our application during testing, which can be used to identify issues.
IoT Core: AWS IoT Core simplifies the complexity of managing IoT devices and data, enabling us to focus on building innovative IoT applications and solutions. It provides a robust and scalable foundation for connecting, managing, and securing your IoT devices and data in the AWS cloud.
IoT Greengrass: IoT Greengrass is an IoT edge runtime service provided by Amazon that allows us to create, deploy, and manage IoT devices and extends the capabilities of AWS cloud services to edge devices, allowing them to act locally on the data they generate while still utilizing the cloud for management, analytics, and storage.
