Setting Up EFS Mount Targets

We have an EFS file system now, but there’s no way to access it from our WordPress instances yet. To be able to access it, we need mount targets.

We can think of mount targets like gateways within our subnet that connect to the EFS file system.

Each subnet needs a mount target with its own IP address, but they will have the same DNS name. This is convenient because we will be able to address them in the same way no matter in which availability zone our WordPress instances are running.
