We looked at many different technologies, tools, and products in this course. Our recommendation is to dive deeper into individual topics you are most interested in, but do this as part of a project and to share your journey with the world. If you do not have your personal website yet, we recommend that you use what you learned in this course to develop and deploy your personal website.

We want to leave you with a few personal thoughts about the future of web development. Given the speed of innovation, we will likely see this well ahead of 2025!

The JAMstack is the hottest topic in web development in early 2020. In this area, Gatsby and Vercel are leading innovation. Both of these are cloud platforms that provide speed, efficiency, and the best developer experience with a focus on the front-end performance of the app. They both announced partial rebuilds of websites, which is exactly where the next five to ten years will focus on.
