The daily stand-up meeting is one of the most commonly used techniques from the broad spectrum of Agile. During the stand-up, the day-to-day progress of the project is discussed with the team. That way, everyone is informed of what everyone is working on. It’s therefore easy to determine whether someone needs help.
A stand-up meeting takes 10–15 minutes, and the whole team participates. During the stand-up, everyone gets their turn. That way, the daily meeting’s overhead is limited. During a stand-up, everyone can actually stand to avoid getting comfortable in a chair as the meeting drags on and on.
