Video Recorder Widget
Record video through the front camera and play it in your lesson using the Video Recorder widget.

The Video Recorder widget allows the learners to:
- Record videos through the front camera
- Play back the recorded videos
As an author, you can adjust the recording time. There is no limit on recording time and the number of takes, but the browser running out of allocated memory might stop the recording.
Use Cases
There are plenty of use cases for this widget. Here are a few:
- Preparation for interviews
- Preparation for presentations or pitches
- Coaching for the difficulty in conversation
- For courses in leadership and management

Video Time Limit
Set the recording time by changing the number and unit (seconds/minutes).
- Currently, this widget is only supported on Chrome and Firefox browsers. Learners may not be able to record through this widget if they are using some other browser.
- The learner will have to allow the browser to use the camera and the microphone. When the learner visits the page with the Video Recorder widget, their browser will give the following pop-up. They must select “Allow” for this widget to work.
Published mode
Here is a sample of how the Video Recorder widget works. You may record by pressing the red circle, and you may record as many times as you want. After you have recorded once, you can switch to the “Play” tab to play your recorded video. Each take is numbered starting from 1.
