What is a resource group?
An Azure user may create or select the most suitable resource group where a newly created resource should be stored when creating that resource. We can manage and arrange connected resources as a logical unit by assigning them to a specific resource group. This makes it simple for us to manage, deploy, track, and delete all of our resources at once.
A resource group is a logical container for organizing related resources within an Azure solution. It can include all or specific resources, allowing us to structure them according to our organizational and business requirements. Deleting a resource group also removes all its contents.
Resource groups provide a way to efficiently manage, bill, allocate resources, control access, and monitor assets constituting an Azure solution. Resource groups streamline the deployment, updating, and removal of all associated resources, simplifying the management process. We can create and manage resource groups through the Azure portal, Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Azure Resource Manager templates.
