Azure Service Availability
Learn about Azure service availability in this lesson.
What is Azure service availability?
Azure service availability measures how often Azure services are available to users. The Azure Service Level Agreement (SLA) describes Microsoft’s commitments for uptime and connectivity for individual Azure Services. There is a 99.9% availability guarantee for most Azure services. There is an expectation that the service will be available for 89.25 hours per month, or 99.9% of the time. The Azure App Service, which has an SLA of 99.99%, is an exception to this rule.
