What is an Azure subscription?
An Azure subscription is a service account that allows us to access resources and services in Azure. It will enable us to create and use resources such as virtual machines, web apps, and databases in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
How to create an Azure subscription
We must register for an Azure account and decide on a payment method to create an Azure subscription. Next, navigate to the Azure portal and create an account. We are typically required to enter our name, email address, residential address, and payment option.
Types of subscriptions in Azure
Azure offers four different types of subscriptions as follows:
Free trial account
Pay-as-you-go
Enterprise agreement
Cloud solution provider
By comparing its pricing and features, we can select the subscription option from the ones above that best suits our needs. But for this course, the best plan would be a free trial account.
What is an Azure Free Trial Account
With an Azure Free Trial account, we may test out Microsoft Azure services without providing a credit card number or committing a monthly fee. In addition, we can test some of Azure's services and get a feel for the platform with an Azure Free Trial account to determine whether they're right for us.
