Why should you read this? A tidy house is good for the mind, and so is a tidy department. We can’t make it tidy without all teams working in unison. You’ll find out how to do that.
What will you learn? You will learn how to align best practices across the department via effective communication and forming new groups. You will learn the best mediums to communicate different types of information and how to coordinate multi-team efforts through guilds and committees.
What will you be able to do that you couldn’t do before? You will be able to use the right techniques for communicating and organizing initiatives in your department. You can help kick initiatives off that have a department wide effect.
Where are we going next, and how does this fit in? With a route in to working collaboratively with the rest of the department, we’ll look at how to define the career tracks for individual contributors and managers, which is a highly worthwhile collaborative venture.
