So, we’ve looked at calendars, which are how you manage your time, but how do you organize and prioritize your tasks? This is where your to-do list comes in. I’m sure you’ve used to-do lists before. However, like calendars, a certain amount of discipline is required to make them really work for you.

Your to-do list should be the only place where your tasks live. Tasks may temporarily live elsewhere, such as your brain or in an email, but ultimately the to-do list is their home.

Let’s suggest a strict rule for yourself: if it’s not on your to-do list, then you’re not doing it. This has two benefits.
