Additional Resources

Most of the information in this chapter summarizes my company’s direct experience. As such, additional resources are limited.

  • Conway, Melvin E. 1968. How do Committees Invent? Datamation. April 1968. This is the original paper on Conway’s Law.

  • Hooker, John, 2003. Working Across Cultures. Stanford University Press. This book describes general considerations in working across cultures and includes specific commentary on China, India, the United States, and other countries.

  • Stuart, Jenny, et al. “Succeeding with Geographically Distributed Scrum,” Construx White Paper, March 2018. This white paper provides suggestions for distributed teams specific to Scrum. It brings in much of the same experience that I’ve described in this chapter.
